My husband gave me this card yesterday - sort of as a joke, but sort of not....the inside sentiment fit pretty well:
It was my last day at work. It's kind of hard to believe that after almost 8 years in the working world, I'm done. My job as a preschool teacher was by far the best one I've had, and I was sad to say goodbye to everyone. But I am so happy to get to stay home now and am so thankful that I have a husband who is supportive of that and is willing to work hard to allow me to do that! This has been my dream for years and it is so exciting to have it come true! When I got home from work yesterday, one of my first thoughts was, "Now I can officially say I'm a homemaker!" What a blessing!
